Ruby: Connected to love, desire, rage, and passion rubies are a cardinal gemstone with a massive amount of lore and energy due to its incredible shade of red. In ancient Greco-roman culture, it was believed that sapphires protect the wearers from those who were driven by envy to harm them. 

In Hebrew writings, it is believed that King Solomon and Abraham wore sapphires to bring them closer to God. Centuries later in Europe, sapphires were worn symbolizing heaven by Christian clergymen during the middle ages.
